GoJet Airlines has teamed with ATP Flight School to offer financial assistance to aspiring commercial aviators as part of ATP’s new Tuition Reimbursement Program. This program helps ATP Instructors who are still instructing for ATP by subsidizing payments of students loans while building quality flight time until qualified to fly for GoJet. Once they begin flying for GoJet, the payments convert to a flat $500 per month for the first year the pilot is flying for GoJet. In exchange for the tuition assistance, the pilot makes a one year commitment to fly for GoJet. The period of time required to upgrade from First Officer to Captain has recently dipped below a two year wait. “One of the biggest barriers to entry for pilots in commercial aviation is the cost of earning 1,500 hours of flight time,” said Terry Basham, Chief Operating Officer at GoJet Airlines. “This program eases the financial burden associated with the earning of those hours, while simultaneously ensuring that GoJet has a direct pipeline to top-notch talent at ATP Flight School.” ATP offers the most direct path to a rewarding career flying for the airlines, and tuition reimbursement makes it more economically feasible. The airlines are reaching out to help pilots enter the airline industry for the first time in the history of the industry. Take advantage of the opportunity to fly for the airlines. This new opportunity begins by flight training with ATP.
