XOJet late last month announced 50-percent year-over-year growth and that it expects more of the same or better into this New Year. The Brisbane, Calif.-based charter operator and private jet membership provider is accelerating expansion of its fleet, adding Bombardier Challenger 300s and its first Challenger 605 last month.

XOJet has announced plans to add other aircraft of each type this year following the two strongest quarters in the company’s history.

While XOJet’s overall business has risen 50 percent, increased traffic at its New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco locations has exceeded this average, reported XOJet’s president of commercial operations Brad Stewart. “Our growth in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco continues to accelerate, with all three markets growing more than 70 percent in recent months and exceeding 80 percent overall growth in November,” Stewart said. XOJet executives report that they also expect to further expand its operations New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

As well as hiring pilots for operations in the U.S., XOJet is adding pilots to their Middle East operations which are also expanding. “That’s one of the reasons we are hiring pilots for the Middle East and we expect that in the next couple of months we’ll probably be announcing the formality of it,” LaCorte told AIN. “We’re making a lot of flights there today under different structures from XOJet.” XOJet presently has several aircraft flying in the region and it is using its presence there to gain local experience and exposure.

With the addition of four new Challenger 300s and the Challenger 605 , XOJet’s fleet currently consists of 26 super-midsize jets (19 Cessna Citation Xs and seven Bombardier Challenger 300s) and one large-cabin jet (the 605).

XOJET, Inc. is currently the number two private jet fleet operator in transcontinental flights in the U.S., whose pilots logged over 8.5 million miles in travel last year.  With operations primarily in North America, XOJET, Inc. currently operates worldwide with plans to expand further internationally as stated before. XOJET, Inc. serves five continents and more than 25,000 airports.
