Piedmont Airlines has joined with ATP to offer Tuition Reimbursement to ATP’s students and instructors. Piedmont will add at least $5,000 per year to pay for flight training costs to the more than $30,000 per year that ATP Instructors earn while instructing at ATP.
Financing the training required to begin any worthwhile career is a little daunting and you read about it everywhere it seems. For the first time however, airlines are beginning to help pay for flight training so that more people will become pilots and fly for the airlines as a career.
The Tuition Reimbursement Program has been embraced by the airlines as a means of doing just that, helping to pay for your flight training.
If you begin flight training today, you will begin flying as a professional pilot and instructor in only 6 months of focused airline-career style flight training with ATP. Eighteen months after that, you will be fully qualified and ready to take your place in the cockpit of a modern airliner, such as those flown by Piedmont Airlines
Piedmont will also pay for your Airline Transport Pilot Certificate Training Program (ATP CTP) which is required by FAA regulation. This brings the effective value of tuition reimbursement up to $16,000 and effective first year pay to over $45,000 if you select Piedmont as your airline of choice.
ATP’s Airline Career Pilot Program prepares you for an airline career. Flight training begins at zero flight time and progresses through all levels of pilot certification, including a job as an ATP Instructor. This will make you one of the most sought after entry-level pilots joining the airline industry. If you are serious about beginning a career as a pilot in the airline industry, get there first by training with ATP.
