SkyWest Airlines and ATP have partnered together to provide ATP pilots for SkyWest’s new Bridge Program. The Bridge Program provides unique opportunities for ATP pilots to be hired as SkyWest employees and continue to instruct at ATP until they have enough flight time to qualify to fly for SkyWest.

I attended the World Aviation Training Symposium (WATS) in Orlando this week, and wanted to share some of what I saw and heard there. Piper, ATP Reach Three-Year Fleet Purchase Deal for up to 100 Aircraft

I read a very good article on the Wall Street investment blog SeekingAlpha.com this morning about the latest round of airline mergers and how it will affect the Airline Industry and I want to share some of it with you. The article begins with a brief history of why airline stocks were very unpopular in the recent past, but that now the airline industry is headed toward stability and profits, which are two things that have been elusive for the industry in the past.
