Posted on | September 4, 2012 | No Comments

US Airways have extended job offers to all of its furloughed pilots and is accepting resumes as they prepare to hire new pilots to enter New-hire Classes over the next few months. US Airways has reported record profits recently, and is in negotiations with American Airlines to merge into one of the largest airlines in the world.

Delta Air Lines has announced that they are accepting resumes in order to fill its new-hire classes this fall and winter. Delta also posted on its website that the airline has lowered its hiring minimums to 1500 hours of flight experience..

Delta recently signed a new contract with their pilots which will allow First Officers to make six-figure incomes and Captains to make over $250,000 per year. Proof positive that flying for the airlines is still a lucrative venture, as well as the most exciting career a person can have.
