JetBlue Airways Reports Rise in Passenger Traffic

JetBlue Airways reported that its traffic results for June 2012 showed the number of passengers flying on JetBlue increased 9.7 percent from June 2011, as the number of JetBlue’s available airline seats increased by 4.8 percent compared to the same time period last year.

The percentage of JetBlue’s passenger seats filled with passengers for June 2012 rose to 85.9 percent, an increase of 3.8 points from June 2011. JetBlue’s completion factor was 98.8 percent and its on-time performance was 77.4 percent. The revenue provided to JetBlue by those passengers for the month of June 2012 increased 6 percent over the same time period last year.
