ATP Jet Center of Daytona Beach Becomes a Signature Select FBO
Since 1984, thousands of professional pilots have come to ATP Flight School for career-oriented flight training. In addition to training new generations of airline pilots, ATP has expanded operations to include the operation of top-quality Fixed-based Operations (FBOs). American Airlines to Reduce Flights in July
American Airlines says it will reduce flights in July partly because of a shortage of pilots due to more of them calling in sick according to today’s USA Today. The 1% reduction in July’s schedule follows a 1.5% cutback in June, which was also blamed partly on higher usage of sick leave by pilots.

Age 65 Retirements Begin Soon, How Will That Affect the Airlines?
On December 13th, 2007 then President Bush signed the law that allowed the mandatory retirement age for airline pilots to be raised from 60 to 65. That means that in only six short months we will begin to see the impact that pushing all of those retirements back 5 years will have on the airline industry.
