ATP Alumni Network Jobs

I have written a number of times on PilotJobs about the importance of networking as it pertains to aviators who wish to fly professionally in the airline industry. I have practiced networking throughout my own career and it has paid off time and time again. I have also had the chance to watch the most functional network in aviation at work and that is the network of ATP Alumni who have come to ATP for flight training or to instruct and have benefitted from the network connections made at ATP throughout their careers.

Many ATP Alumni who have gone on to airline jobs stay in close contact with friends they met while here and have had the chance to help or be helped by them. Many also come back to ATP to do some of the many things that they can do for ATP’s students that won’t require them to do any commercial flying, which their airlines have asked them to avoid.

For instance, some Alumni return to us to instruct in our Regional Jet Standards Certification Program which not only supplies our students with a chance to work with someone who is currently flying the line at an airline, but allows the Alumnus to make good use of all the extra time off that airline pilots get while augmenting their income. It works out for all of us involved when they do that.

Now for example, we are reaching out to our Alumni as we need help with everything from teaching our PilotPool.com recruitment tool to instructing on our RJ Program as I mentioned before.

So if you are part of ATP’s Alumni I have a question for you. Are you Interested in coming back to work with us at ATP? We’d love to hear from you. Please drop us an email at [email protected] with some
information:

– who you fly for
– your on-site or on-line availability
– what locations you want to work out of
