Jetblue AirwaysTraffic Rises 2.7% in February

JetBlue Airways reported its preliminary traffic results for February 2010. Traffic in February increased 2.7 percent from February 2009, on a capacity increase of 2.7 percent.

Load factor for February 2010 was 74.5 percent, the same as February 2009.  JetBlue’s preliminary completion factor was 94.6 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 67.9 percent.  JetBlue’s preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of February increased between one and three percent year over year.

JetBlue has its headquarters in the Forest Hills Tower in Forest Hills, Queens, New York City. JetBlue Airways is an American airline that began as a low-cost airline, but has since become more similar a legacy carrier. It is owned by JetBlue Airways Corporation. The company is headquartered in the Forest Hills neighborhood of the New York City borough of Queens. Its main base is John F. Kennedy International Airport, also in Queens.
