Colgan Air Traffic Rose in April and May

Colgan Air posted higher passenger traffic figures for both April and May of this year compared to the same period last year, according to new data released late yesterday.

Colgan flew 223,857 passengers in April. That is 14.8 percent more than the 194,936 passengers it flew in April 2008. Its passenger count rose 3.8 percent in May to 236,520 in 2009 compared to 227,782 in the same period last year.

Colgan’s load factor, a measure of how full planes were for the month, jumped 5.3 percent in April and 4.7 percent in May. Revenue Passenger miles also rose 26 percent in April over the same period in 2008.
